According to information acquired by F.A.Z., the newly founded boutique consultancy Peryton has brought Jürgen Schlangenotto on board as an additional managing director. He worked for BNP Paribas for seven years as a Managing Director along with Jochen Czelecz, who worked for the French institution from 2007 to the start of this year, most recently as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions in the German-speaking region. Czelecz subsequently founded Peryton. His former post at BNP has been vacant for months, a fact that has not attracted much public acknowledgement so far. No successor has yet been named, said a BNP spokesperson on Thursday when asked. Schlangenotto specialises in the automotive and engineering sector. Before BNP, he worked for Lazard and Morgan Stanley and he assisted in the acquisition of BOC by Linde, among others. From BNP, he moved to Credit Suisse and then later to the consultancy KPMG.
